Brussels Capital Tournament: 10 Medals for Italy Boxing Team, Vassallo Wins Gold
The Brussels Capital Tournament wrapped up with a strong medal haul for the Italy Boxing Team, which brought home a total of 10 medals: 1 gold, 5 silvers, and 4 bronzes. The team, led by Head Coach Giovanni De Carolis, proved once again to be a force on the international amateur boxing stage.
The highlight of the tournament was the stunning performance by Martina Vassallo, who clinched the gold medal in the 51 Kg women’s category, defeating India’s Sharma by points with impressive tactical discipline and sharp execution.
The Italian team also claimed five silver medals, with outstanding efforts from the following boxers:
– Badr Eddine Bouraouia (55 Kg M) – Silver vs Boulaiz (BEL) WP
– Michel Vescovini (54 Kg W) – Silver vs Khunjuia (BEL) WP
